Critical steps to successful employment
Heather Ryan, Bachelor of Commerce Studies
Heather enrolled at MUN in September, 2005. WISE could see her potential from the start. Heather was
awarded a $1,000 scholarship from WISE to pursue her studies. Way to go Heather!
Dale Doyle, Bachelor of Education
Dale enrolled at MUN in September, 2003. Dale was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from WISE in 2006 to
cover the costs involved in completing her internship requirements for her degree. She will soon be
shaping the minds of Newfoundland’s youth!
WISE women encouraging others in the workplace
Amanda Noseworthy
Flight Dispatcher, Provincial Airlines.
Amanda, another WISE woman, is a mother of two boys. She has her private pilot’s license and is
aiming to buy an airplane in 2007. Her goal to complete her commercial pilot’s license is about to
become a reality. Its been a long road with ups and downs but she encourages women to look closely
at non-traditional careers. Amanda’s successes reminds WISE of the importance of women supporting
women to follow their dreams!
